The bible on Giving

Luke 6:38 in the King James Version (KJV) states: "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again"

God operates on principles of giving and generosity. When we give, we should give and not expect anything in return, for your heavenly Father sees your secret giving and will reward you abundantly. 2 Corinthians 9:7 in the King James Version (KJV) says, "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver".
